Anyone applying to Chattahoochee Tech for the Fall 2012 ADN program?

Did anyone call the school to ask how many applicants they have and how many students they are taking?

I was told by the nursing department that they received over 500 applications! She said that alot of those do not even meet the requirements, but still - that is insane for 30 something openings! Good luck to everyone!!

500 applicants!?! Yikes! That is scary. I am really torn about schools. I would like to go to CTC if I get in because that is where I have been taking classes and I like the school. I am also applying to Ga Highlands though, and the big draw with them for me is that they offer federal student loans. It is going to be hard to pay for school and bills without a loan so if I get in there I will probably have to go with them, especially if I were to get a spot at the Marietta campus. I live in Woodstock and Austell is such a sucky drive in rush hour. Even Rome would be less stressful. Oh well, I'll take what I can get. Good luck to everyone. I know there are going to be a lot of really dissapointed people if that many are hoping to get in.

Anyone else waiting for an acceptance from Chatt Tech? Also, any word on if they are now accredited?

I applied. They said we would receive acceptance or rejections letters by April 25th. I'm so nervous! I do not know if they have been accredited yet, but the first class had a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX so they should have no problem with that. The waiting is killer! I heard that they had 500 applicants this year. If you don't mind my asking, what was you TEAS score?

My TEAS score was not so great. I made an 80. I am praying this is enough to get in. Whats you score?

I applied to Chattahoochee Tech ADN program and am also waiting on a letter. I received an email today saying they mailed out the letters. So I can wait to see what mine says. I'm thinking I didn't get in because the email said "This letter is time sensitive and concerns your program application. Your response to us via email may be requested. "

Any thoughts?
