  1. I was told by the nursing department that they received over 500 applications! She said that alot of those do not even meet the requirements, but still - that is insane for 30 something openings! Good luck to everyone!!
  2. Chattahoochee Tech is on the list of approved nursing schools in Georgia - sos.georgia.gov/plb/rn It states initial approval, so I guess it is in the process.
  3. I have applied for spring 2012. My GPA is 3.6 with 80% on TEAS. I spoke to Lisa Kesler a couple of weeks ago, and she said that we should hear something by the end of spring semester. Waiting is the hardest part, I think!!
  4. It is NOT enough! You need to understand vaporization in a way that isn't even in the study guide. Basically you just really need to "understand" everything in order to answer the questions correctly. All of the answers on some questions seem like they could be correct. The science section was ridiculous, but take both of the practice assessments from the ATI Testing website and you should be okay. There was a lot of Chemistry on my test. Also, watch YouTube videos on chemical bonding, meiosis and mitosis, etc.
  5. The test was way harder than I expected, and I scored 76. You know what to expect now, so the anxiety shouldn't be so bad next time. A friend of mine scored 87, and she said to purchase both of the practice assessments from the ATI Testing website - it really helped her, so that is my plan. Good luck!
