Any Aiken Tech or Augusta Tech Fall 2011 Applicants?

U.S.A. Georgia

My ADN application is officially in at Augusta Tech and I'm also going to apply to Aiken Tech next month, as well as a few other area programs (in radiologic sciences). I figure the more apps I have in, the higher my chance of acceptance to at least one, haha!

So anyone else in the running for one of these programs for Fall 2011?

I was thinking around 8:30/9 ish so I may run into both of you there! I am about to look you guys up now.

I just sent the friend requests!

I guess I'll be there for 8:30 then...lol. I'll be around anyways. Now that it's definite there's a few things I have to take care of at the school so I'll hopefully run into both of you. See you maƱana.

I don't know if I got there too early/late but I did miss both of you!!

LOL....sorry about that. I got there a few minutes late at about 9...was in the admissions building taking care of something. There was no one else there when I went except Ms. Casey-Evans. There was a guy that showed up as I was getting my parking decal so there's at least one guy in the group. Lol. We'll see each other during orientation for sure.

Yea no one was there when I got there either. So I didn't get to see any of our prospective classmates. You are right, can't wait for orientation. How do you feel about the medical terminology??

I ended up a little early. Took care of financial aid stuff but forgot all about a parking decal. I was hoping we would find out when classes are scheduled. But I guess not :( We have LOTS to do this summer (physical, dental, immunizations, etc) and even more to BUY.

The abbreviations I'm actually comfortable with. I've been in the medical field for a while. You're right...ALOT to buy. Lol. It comes with the territory unfortunately. Wait until we have to buy our books. Lol. The scheduling I was planning on asking her about it on Monday. That's when I signed up to meet with her.

I didn't even think about doing a parking decal and etc. It is a lot but at least we will be somewhat busy. It does seem like everything is a little 'top secret', but maybe that's a good thing. After I actually sat down and red the abbreviations I realized that I was more comfortable than the original first glance. At least you have somewhat of an understanding to what we will be learning. Hopefully she will tell you in your meeting what the scheduling will be like on Monday.

Just got my acceptance to Aiken Tech's ADN program, but I'm pretty sure I'll go with Augusta to graduate 6 months sooner!

Congratulations on getting accepted to Aiken too. I think you're making a wise decision in sticking with Augusta Tech....not being biased or anything...LOL. I've heard stories recently from a few people regarding the program at Aiken Tech and they say that if given an option, definitely pick Augusta Tech.

By the way everyone....are there any questions that have popped into your heads that might need addressing. I have a few I'm going to be asking on my own behalf on Monday. Just wondering if anyone needed answers asap about anything. LOL.

@klbinaug :yeah:CONGRATS!!!! I'm sure you are making the best decision for you.:yeah:

@Eris143 How did it go??? Did the meeting make you even more excited to start?? :)

Have either of you heard anything about the program at all?
