When can I apply for ABSN?

I'm planning on applying for several schools for ABSN, that starts hopefully on next fall.

I'm currently taking general biology and will be taking my pre-reqs this fall and next spring. (I haven't taken any yet) I'll be taking A&P I, Microbiology, and Human Growth&Dev. this fall and A&P II, Nutrition, and Statistics on the spring.

However, most of the programs that I'm trying to apply have their deadline on January for Fall semester! If so, does that mean I have no chance of getting accepted for next fall semester (Fall 2018) and should wait half a year to apply by Jan 2019 for Fall 2019? or can I submit my application with half-done prereqs?

Please help! Especially those who were/are in the same boat as I am :(

You can always submit your application, and then send your updated transcripts once you finish your classes.

If their application guidelines do not say "all prerequisites need to be completed before application" or "all prerequisites need to be completed by xxx date" (when they actually review applications) then you need to contact the school. There is no way of us knowing what each individual school will or wil not permit.

Read the application process for the schools you are applying for. Some may want all pre-reqs done at time of application, other may want X number of courses or specific classes Y and Z, but allow for in-progress courses at time of degree.

If they say on their admission page that all pre-reqs must be done by January or even March(which is still in the middle of the semester), does that mean I have to wait until 2019 to submit my completed application?

It's really up to the school so I would check with yours. Some allow prerequisites to be finished by the start of the program and some you need to have it all completed to even be competitive.

It sounds like you have to have it all finished. But still get confirmation from the ABSN program you're applying to.
