What was I thinking!

Well, I'm dropping my Chem class. My Micro is going to be so much work and plus I have algebra and bio-med ethics. I don't want to sacrafice my Micro grade for my Chem grade (chem is not needed to apply to my ADN program) I will have to take chem for the BSN but I'll deal with it when I transfer school. I do have to take another Eng/Lit course so I might transfer into one of thoes classes.

I hate dropping classes, makes me feel like a failure but I had no idea what I was getting into with the Chem.

I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm taking all online classes, and in a sheer moment of genius, I decide I'll take Anthropology, sociology, and developmental psych all at the same time. I'm reading literally 3 chapters a day, and they're all related so I have a tendancy to mix up information.

Never ever again. :stone

:)

I thought about dropping one of the classes, but I would have lost my full time status for financial aid. Luckily, the anthro and soc classes don't count towards entrance, so I won't feel too badly if I don't do as well as I normally would.

Ooh, now THAT sounds like an interesting class - medical ethics. My college offers it, but only strange hours that wouldn't coincide well with my work schedule, so I'm taking philosophy online instead (also a very interesting course, I'll say).

Don't feel bad, my philosophy with school is it's better to have a "W" than a poor grade. I'm kicking myself all over for dropping chem last semester now that I want to take orgo in the summer, but there's nothing to do about it now. :)

there is a reason why they have drop and add the first weeks of a semester. I wonder why no one mentions the CLEP exams for basic studies? I got 27 semester hours from them when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

I know about CLEP but I DO NOT want to CLEP chemistry...there is no way I would be happy. My school deducteds your refund if you drop in the first week. The only way you can get 100% is if you drop before the class ever starts.
