Website for bloodpressure practicing

Hi,

I think I read a while ago, when I was browsing every tread before school started, when I still had free time, that there was a website where you could practice on taking the blood pressure.

You could listen to the tones and then click when you heard the first and last one and see if it was correct.

When I read this, I didn't even know what it was about, but today we had to try it for the first time in class, and I could use some ectra practice.

Can anyone guide me to this site please??

And I'm sorry for the mistakes in my text, I'm European, and English is only my third language

Hi, Purkje!

The website that suzy253 posted for you is the one you were looking for. When you get to the site, scroll down the page. The link is toward the bottom of the page. Click on "Take a blood Pressure". The window with the interactive blood pressure cuff will open and you can re-cycle the cuff over and over for practice. Good luck!

Thank you!!!

I already practiced on it.

I must say, it is much easier on the site than in real life, much louder (even on the lowest sound level), much clearer also, no other sounds, and the needle jumps more.

But it has helped me, now I can listen and look at the needle at the same time.

If you are having problems hearing the noises, make sure the stethescope it facing the right direction and that the bell/diaphram is the right direction as well.
