looking for people who have dealt with JU's RN-BSN online program and who have completed it. how's the program? does the BSN hold water out in the world? what about when applying to MSN programs? any info would be helpful. i've reviewed their web site and am looking for some independent info. thanks.

I am also looking into Jacksonvilee via the internet I have been speaking to a women from University alliance , I have left messages directly with the head of Nursing at Jacksonville called information for the number, and am waiting for a response I also have left several messages with major universities(loyola, and depaul) and questioned the transferability of a degree from Jacksonville to there MSN programs I am awaiting a response. Keep in touch and let me know if you find any thing out Thanks KIM:rolleyes:

I researched JU and U of Pheonix and can tell you both are acceptable for transfer to major Universities here in Chicago such as DePaul. However Ju only gives 32 credits in consideration for youR adn AND WORK EXPERIENCE AS A rn AND u OF pHEONIX GIVES 60 CREDITS. tHERFORE ALTHOUGH i WAS MUCH MORE IMPRESSED WITH jU ACEDEMICALLY I am going with U of Phoenix. Hope this helps. Thanks KIM:rolleyes:

I happen to live right next door to JU (literally) & my uncle is a professor there (economics, not nursing). I don't have alot of info on their online RN to BSN program (although I hope to once I finish my ADN program) I know the school itself is excellent. Their regular BSN program is really good & the rest of the school is great as well.

I know they are also really good about helping you find ht money to pay for school (financial aid, scholarship, grant, loan etc.)

I'm interested to see what ya'll find out too. I've been meaning to go next door & talk to a Nursing advisor but haven't made it there yet.

Thanks for your reply I spoke with Barb, from The Depaul University Nursing Office here in Chicago and she told me JU was transferrable to their MSN program, However so was U of Phoenix, I really have heard good things about JU but JU only gives you 32 credits for an ASN and Phoenix gives 60. Therefore I have no choice but to go with U of Phoenix at 350+ dollars a credit hour and the additional time. I have no chose U of Pheonix. Any one who has attended u of Pheonix and then transferred to a MSN else:rolleyes: where I would love your take on this. Thanks, KIM
