:angryfire It's Spring quarter burnout my instructor says!!!!!!! I just hate nursing school right about now.....Lecture 3 days a week and clinicals 2 drive over an hour to get to clinicals.........study my butt off.....and the guy sitting behind me who does not come to lecture or study still passes......he cheats!I work my u know what off for Nursing club/graduation stuff....and no thanks all the people that got elected for "awards" are screw offs that don't do anything to help and don't bother coming to the meetings.......

I HATE MY NURSING PROGRAM RIGHT NOW!!!!!

Last week at clinicals.While waiting in the med room.Instructor asks a student so what are you giving the furosomide. His response was it's a diabetic med........instructor says "What should you assess for?"

He says BP

So as she tells him to look it up,she asks me.........I give her correct information.

Then he has the nerve to call me a know-it-all,smart A$$!

Its your last week in clinicals and the guy doesn't know what furosimide is???? Hope he is never MY nurse. By the way, be proud of your know it all butt....you will be the SAFE SMART nurse.

Don't worry about that other student (Unless he is your nurse someday). Your job right now is to learn to be the best nurse you can be and it sounds like your doing it very well.

I wouldn't let myself get too upset by that guy if I were you. He may be able to fake his way through nursing school now, but that's only going to hurt him later on.

The NCLEX should (I hope) weed out the slackers, the cheaters, and the mooches. ;)

I have no patience for that stuff when I work my butt off. :angryfire
