Hello,

I just received my letter of acceptance!!!! I am so excited and was wondering if there are any fellow Spr'07 newbies?!?! School starts two days after my birthday so that's a wonderful present!!!! I must admit though, I'm so nervous and excited. Reading these posts shows that there is sooooooo much to learn it seems overwhelming but I'm going to give it my best shot. To help prepare me, I've taken a job as a UPMC CNA at a LTC facility. I start CNA training classes some time in December whenever UPMC finishes recruiting. Congratulations. I just started at Shadyside Fall '06. It's a tough program, but as long as you have self disipline for your stuidies you'll be ok.

Congratulations. I just finished my first term at Shadyside.

I'm really enjoying it, but I kind of let myself get behind a bit at Thanksgiving so the last couple of weeks were interesting.

Just keep on top of your classwork and it'll be fine.
