I have been corresponding with people who did not pass their boards the first time, sending suggestions and information on an individual basis. It dawned upon me, this might benefit anyone who is planning to first take their boards as an organized way to study. Anyone is welcome to join us, just send an email to [email protected] and tell me you want to be added to the list. Give me an idea of your strengths and weaknesses

Here is an example of one of the first topics I sent:

*************************************************************************************************

when I review labs, I have come up with something I call the rule of 35.

Normal Ph is 7.35 to 7.45

Normal sodium is 135

Normal K+ is 3.5 to 4.5

there are many more.

Here are the situations, study up on what happens if each lab value I have mentioned here is high or low. This is how you will identify early disease.

HyperNatrimia, Hyponatrimia, HyperKalemia, HypoKalemia, High Ph, low Ph, and their corrections.

Next timeHyper and hypo calcemia

Also Blood glucose, see you next time
