I'll get straight to the point, I've never done well with foul smells, or vomit. I recognize that this is a huge issue and I'm looking for some advice. Have you ever felt this way? If so, how did you overcome it? How far into the program were you when you realized that you were finally comfortable with it?

Have a question for those of you who use Vicks. You're talking about carrying a bottle/jar/tube of the Vicks Vapo Rub (like vasoline) with you? In your pocket, ready to whip it out to use? Like the need to use it at any time can just pop up so it would have to be readily available. Sometimes just taking trash into the dirty utility room can cause a reax.

Maybe because I've not had quite so bad reax - of course, I've been close with colostomy care a couple of times.

I have three boys and vomit STILL bothers me. I'd rather clean up poo ANY day. >.

If you've had kids, think back to having to change diapers and clean up their vomit... after a while of doing that, it doesn't bother you.
