I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I'll be applying (if all goes as planned) with 34-36 points. But first, I must conquer the HESI! This will be my first time applying and I'm super nervous. Good luck to all!

You will get it! 34-36 points is a sure thing!!! Keep me updated and don't hesitate to ask questions :D I'm here.

I'm planning to apply Jan 2016 to the elcentro program not sure how to add the points up but I have been taking classes directly from the info packet online. .. Will the classes taken spring 2016 count as well even if I applied in Jan ?

In the packet from El Centro's nursing program, there is a page in there that shows you what pre-requisites classes, secondary classes, and hesi scores are worth. The maximum amount of points you can receive is 40. The deadline for each nursing program entry is 6 months ahead of the start date. If you took classes for Spring 2015 and part of Summer 1/Maymester 2015 then yes they will count towards the Spring 2016 deadline. Any classes after July 15, 2015 will count towards the next entry date which is Fall 2016. I hope I was able to answer your question but if you have any more, don't hesitate to put them here in the forum so we you can get a reply. Thanks!

Hi you guys! I just created a Facebook page called "North Lake and El Centro Nursing Spring 2016". Please come and join me where we can meet each other and share information. It will be a nice tool to post study materials or plan to meet for studying. Lets work together and get through this together! No more competition.. it's all about teamwork!!

Hi, I'm planning to apply for spring 2016, but I noticed there's 2 different packets. One says revised for spring 2016 (it says max is 40 pts) and the other says revised for spring 2017 (it says max 50 pts). I have been looking at the one that says spring 2016 and have based myself on the maximum points being 40 points. Then I saw the other one and am a little confused. If anyone has information or can tell me if I'm looking at the right packet will be greatly appreciated!
