I start sbvc next week and am terrified, we have a quiz first day and need a 100percent on math exam for entry on pharmacology, I'm reviewing but haven't do e math in 8 years? Any advice from previous students to help me get through 1st semester?

Hi, I'm applying for the 2016 Fall admission at SBVC. I wanted to know if you have any tips, or if you had to wait long for acceptance. Did you get in on the first try? How was the HESI? Thank you in advance.

I was on the last wait list and it took me over 4 years to get in, now its HESI, so just do as many of those tests you can, also brush up on math because we have a pre pharmacology entry test you have to get a 100% on and can only retake it once if you miss even one question the 2nd time you are out of the program, I will let you know more as I go through if you want? Hopefully i'll see you in the fall☺

Thank you so much for your reply. I wanted to also tell you that atiteasting.com has a specific section for nursing school students where they have manuals to go along with concepts while you are in nursing school, Pharmacology being one of them. It was 36$ I believe. Maybe you should check it out, I'm sure it will help as well as the other manuals they offer. When I went to checkout WestCoast they were studying from atiteasting.com manuals, not sure how it relates to the program specifically, but their test scores are in the 90's most recently. They told me they use the manuals for every subject. Congratulations on your acceptance, I'm sure you will do very well. Stay blessed.

I meant to type 80's, and the manual is 121$
