I had my classes evaluated and I have B's across the board, I didn't have to take the HESI, but I do have to take pharmacology class and get 100% on the first test. I've been an LVN for 13 years.

This was very interesting. I wanted to apply to Chaffey a long time ago 2008-2009ish. I actually first started my pre requisites there. I met with a nursing counselor and she strongly suggested I apply somewhere else and take my general eds elsewhere also. I consider myself a very high energy, outgoing, fun person. I enjoy being a nurse and I'm excited to excel as a RN in the near future. I had a long conversation with her and her eyes and suggestion to not go there led me away. Now that I'm applying to nursing programs in the I.E., Chaffey came across my mind. Thing is, I can't get that eerie situation out of my head. Defiantly a pass for me.

Hello all, I applied to the nursing program offered at San Bernardino Valley College today. I applied for the generic ADN program as well as the LVN to ADN. If anyone else applied and would like to say hi, drop a line. Even to those who see this and wish not to, " Heeelooooo from the other siiiiiide!" I hope I see you on the insiiiiiide! of S, B, V, C! It would warm my heart!

I wanted to also tell you that atiteasting.com has a specific section for nursing school students where they have manuals to go along with concepts while you are in nursing school, Pharmacology being one of them. It was 36$ I believe. Maybe you should check it out, I'm sure it will help as well as the other manuals they offer. When I went to checkout WestCoast they were studying from atiteasting.com manuals, not sure how it relates to the program specifically, but their test scores are in the 90's most recently. They told me they use the manuals for every subject. Congratulations on your acceptance, I'm sure you will do very well. Stay blessed.
