Preceptorship starts next week. Butterflies!!

We're coming to the end now. Graduation is in plain sight. Three final exams down, one to go. Things are getting pretty real now with our preceptorships starting next week. Mine is in the CVICU. I had to go for the challenge... couldn't be satisfied with med surg. I must admit to having my doubts and hope I don't break into a nervous dripping sweat, my cardinal sign of anxiety which is oh so embarrassing.

Any thoughts to share?

First day of preceptorship is behind me. It was a really great experience. We had two critical care patients. By shift's end, I was taking total care of the less acutely ill one. I love my preceptor. And... I didn't break a sweat!
