Non-totally see-through white scrub pants...do they exist?

So, like, I bought some white scrubs for clinicals and they leave little to the imagination. I also bought appropriate underwear to wear with them...but I am wondering, is there a brand out there that is a bit more, um, willing to leave my unmentionables to the imagination? (I tried on Cherokee, Barco, Basix). I have a feeling I'll just have to deal with it for the next 2 years. Oh well.

Okay I looked all over my house for the catalog and finally found it. The web site is SmartScrubs.com They have a great catalog with lots of fun tops. Hope this helps and good luck :)

Susan RN and anyone else,

Where do you find pant slips at? I have never heard of those, sound like they will come in handy though.

My grandma gets hers at Sears...

Do you have a JC penneys where you are, or a catalog from them? They also have a website... http://www.JCPenney.com

I am sure other places have them too.

Slips of any kind don't seem to be a popular as in the "old days":roll

Kohl's department store has capri-length hose (and shorter) in their hosiery department. Can't remember who makes it...maybe Hanes? I'm sure it's available at other department stores as well...

Jasco Uniform company sells drawstring scrub pants, unisex sizing. I love mine. I also got some white scrubs from them and I don't think you can see thru them since I have worn them and no has pulled me aside... but, not everyone is that honest either! :imbar

Thanks for the suggestions! I wear whites and the way I solved the prob was beige undies and LONG tops.

Oh, and don't forget http://www.allheart.com -- they have disney scrubs :D

I have to wear white scrub pants for clinicals and even though they're see thru, I wouldn't wear a pants slip or pantyhose or anything else underneath--don't you guys get hot? I just make sure my scrub top is long enough, that solves the problem. Sure we come back from showering people looking like entrants in a wet pants and T-shirt contest, but they dry quick--if you had all that other stuff on underneath it might not dry as quickly--yuck!

Just got the new "life uniforms" catalog in the mail today and they advertise a new non-see-through pair of white pants. Not sure if that's true, and don't have the catalog in front of me to see what the price is, but it may be worth a shot. Website is http://www.lifeuniforms.com (I think...) and I know they have stores around the country...

 Well...... Being a male nurse I dont have to worry about people seeing my underwear....(doesnt really bother me) But I also get to wear different colored scrubs!!! You can actually get uniforms from "LIFE UNIFORMS" that are similiar to scrubs but are called "CARGO PANTS" they are thicker and have pockets to hide underwear.....

Good luck in your search!!
