Nervous wreck...am I the only one?

Tomorrow is my first day of NS and I must say that I am a nervous wreck. I have been waiting for this moment for so long and its finally here! I have been dreaming of this moment for years, now that its here, I don't know what to do with myself. I think I was ok until I started reading the stories about humongous work loads, bully professors, dropouts, etc. Now I'm all worked up! I.guess I will drink some chamomile tea and try to relax a bit before going to bed...good luck to you all!

I was nervous last week before my first day. I found that almost EVERYONE was feeling the same way. You could just see it in our eyes lol. Hang in there, focus on what it took to get to this point and know that you EARNED that seat you are going to be in!

Good luck : )

I almost guarantee that all of your classmates will be feeling the same way! Good luck and like the previous poster said, remember all the hard work that got you into that seat... and have fun!

I am in my 4th year of nursing school and felt the exact same way too! But if you work hard, balance study with play, develop realtionships with school mates and professors/tutors you'll do just fine! There will be times you may just want to throw in the towel but trust me, it gets better and easier as time goes on! Good luck and enjoy! :)

Thanks I really appreciate your advice!
