need help with a job

Not sure if i'm posting in the right spot, so this will prob get moved.... oh well. here goes!

I've heard all about the shortage, but no one seems to be hiring. I think my resume must suck.

I'm a sophomore nursing student hoping to get a job soon for the summer- basically as anything- aide, extern, etc.

anyone else having trouble?

Have you tried calling the places back that you put your application in ? A few of the hospitals that applied for I called back just to see if the reviewed my application and they are bomvbed right now with so many you may need to give them a little nudge in your direction and let them know you are intertested in going anywhere for the expierence. That is how I job my summer internship. Call human resources and speak to the nurse recruiter, remember her name because maybe they don't have any spots available for the summer left but they might next term so it is good to keep in contact with them. good luck
