Hi, just want to ask a question. I will be graduating next year like April but it will be only with associate degree in nursing...I will take my board after my grad; my question or my seeking of an advice is that should I just continue finishing the remaining subjects (they said like only 9 of them)to graduate with Bachelors or is it better to work while taking it online or in campus. Is it even possible to work at the same time finish your degree to BS? Thanks for your advices in advance. Katherine Rose

The hospital system in my area has a 3 year time limit for all RN's to earn their BSN. Some are only taking online classes and doing enough work to pass but others get a lot out of it. It's definitely harder to work ft as a nurse while taking those classes to be able to get the most out of them but very possible. I'll be taking classes towards a master's degree while I'm working ft.

If it was me, I would not want to wait 2 more semesters to start working as an rn. I went straight for my BSN and if I could do it over, I'd have gotten my associates to gain rn experience sooner even though I feel the classes are beneficial.

One other thing to consider is if you would had to take many more credits at an online bsn program than the 9 classes you need at your current school (if you had to change schools)

Good luck!

Thanks direw0lf...will take into mind your advices. ^_^!
