Men in the nursing field?

I was wondering what types of experiences other males have had in nursing school?

Our class is very close...we have 7 males and they are all AWESOME. It's always nice to have a helping hand moving a patient with a strong male counterpart! Not that we females are wimps- we arent- but the males in my group were always looking to help out. 5 of them are EMT's.

The male nurses I have met during clinicals have also been awesome as well.

I notice that the instructors learn our names fast. I guess we sort of stand out.
