I had orientation yesterday, and I think I saw four or five out of the 90 that are signed up.

At our informational meeting last month, I saw about 4 out of the 38 accepted. I'll find out more at orientation, August 16. Classes start August 19.

I think there are 7 or so of us out of a total of 45 or so. I didn't feel horribly out of place at our mini-orientation, especially since I've seen the same ratios in most of my pre-req classes.

I think there's eight men out of a class of forty students. Our nursing program is a combination of three colleges, and each school has 13 or 14 students that are chosen to enter the program. There were 5 men from my school, and we rule! Not only do we have the best looking women of all the schools, the guys are better looking also with the sharpest minds:p . Hey, there's nothing wrong with a little confidence is there? Anyway, I think the men from my school are starting to show up in greater numbers, and soon will represent a larger part of the class. I'm glad I got in when I did because it's only going to get tougher to get accepted with all the competition coming on in the next few years. I'll continue to pave the way for my brothers, and make sure we have equal rights, and some nice uniforms. Thank you ladies for being kind to us guys and accepting us. Soon, we will dominate this field also, and we won't forget the women who helped us to take over :chuckle :roll I'd better get out of here, I may have said too much...
P.S. Don't slam me Girls, I'm just messin' wit cha'
we would not "slam" you, darby! besides, we know peeps and all the other guys will come to your rescue! :chuckle much continued success to you and visit more often when you can! will your wife be joining us too! tell her, hello!

Two out of 24 (14 from my original class of 28) in second year, 1 that started with my class and one that failed Nursing 3 last year by 1 point. I'll have to check to see how many are starting first level. We added another instructor, so next year 1st level will start 48, last year & for the last 10 years or so, they only started 30 or less.

Out of a class of 30, there will be one guy. Lucky devil! Seriously, wish more men were enrolling. It dismays me to hear the prejudices from the general public that the men are encountering in the profession. Our class, which starts in the fall, is very diverse agewise, from early twenties to 50. I can hardly wait to begin.
