I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good books to get for learning medical terminology.

I haven't even applied to nursing school yet. I just want to be as prepared as possible!

there is a section in taber's medical dictionary that you will probably need to get anyways, if you go into nursing, that we had to study for first year clinicals. it gave me the basics :)

I just took medical terminology last semester. The book I had was awesome. It is called "The Language of Medicine" 6th edition. It came with a CD and tested you over each chapter. The author is Davi-Ellen Chabner. I definitely recommend this book.
