  1. I was thinking about applying at St Lukes hospital on the plaza. What do you guys know about the hospital? What makes it the best hospital in KC?
  2. Yeah, I'm not happy at all!! I was so upset when I found out I didn't get in. I am number 50 on the waiting list. I might as well not even be on the waiting list. I even have experience working in a hospital. I think I'm going to try KCK for the spring semester. I think you still have a really good chance of getting in. Some people will drop out when they get into other programs. I wouldn't give up. You will probably still get in. Good luck!! Abby
  3. I think I sat 2 rows in front of you. I got a D in that class! I was one and a half points away from a C and he wouldn't give it to me!! So I retook it last semester with a much better teacher and I got a C. Math is not my strong point. Okay, I will try to explain the question as best as I can......If a waterfall runs down hill, where would water have to be to be absorbed? It was really weird how she asked it. And I could tell she didn't really understand it either. She had to re-read it to herself. Abby
  4. John- That is not the question that stumped me. I can't even explain the question that stumped me. It was too strange. They said they would let us know by the end of March or the beginning of April. That is kind of a long time to wait. Especially when it's all you can think about!! Good luck. I'm sure you will do great! By the way, I think I know you. Did you take stats with Palcic this past summer? Abby
  5. My interview only took 15-20 minutes. It was with only one interviewer. Most of the questions were situational type questions. For example, what would you do if you saw a co-worker taking a patient's pain medication? Another one was, you smell alcohol on a co-worker's breath, what do you do? What qualities do you possess that would make you a good nurse? I cannot even begin to explain the last question she asked me. It really stumped me. I kind of just guessed. Now I've been second guessing myself about some of my answers and thinking of things I should have said instead. But I guess that's normal. When is your interview? Good luck to you!! Abby
  6. I ended up getting my letter! I had my interview 2/26. Now I have to play the waiting game! I won't find out until the end of March or the beginning of April! Good luck to you on your interview if you haven't had it yet! Abby
  7. I was just wondering if any of you applied to JCCC Rn program for the fall 2004 semester. If so, have you gotten any information about the interviews? I got a letter a month ago saying that all my paper work is complete and they would let me know if I qualify for an interview. The interviews start in March and I'm starting to get nervous! Abby
