At my school you would make up the hours. However there is a process to follow when calling off for clinicals and if you fail to follow that process you can be given an unsatisfactory for that clinical day. Our clinicals are pass/fail, you have to pass clinical to pass the course, however it does not affect our lecture grade.

I somehow managed to screw up my alarm clock and ended up missing an ENTIRE day of clinicals
I'm going to talk to my instructor soon but I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this before. Am I going to fail the class for missing 9 hours?? Or will they make me make it up or just deduct points? I'm freaking out!!
Any help would be so lovely to ease my mind a bit...
EDIT: syllabus says that I can miss up to 13.5 hours without failing. However, it does not say what will happen to my grade or if I will need to make up the lost hours.
Thanks
