Hey again everyone. I have a question for ya'll. What kind of nurse are you (where do you work)? I want to work in the NICU or OB/GYN parts. I love babies and I would love to work them. However, I do not want to work in the Pediatrician parts. I don't know why. Just don't. Anyways, anyone have any advice on either NICU or OB/GYN? Any is appreciated! :D

hmmm I havent totally decided yet because I want to get a better idea at clinicals but right now Im thinking

1. Pediatrics

2. OB

3. ER

but maybe during clinicals I will change my mind :)

EXACTLY! This is what clinicals are for (except for the educational component!). They give you a little taste of what each is like, give you a feel for it. Take your time and see how each one feels. Even if you get tons of advice and opinions and feel like you've made up your mind, you could have a clinical that completely blows it all away!

Thanks Nessa and Heather. I understand EXACTLY what you meant about people giving their opinions (and I mean in my family, NOT ya'll here...you're experienced;)) and then not knowing WHAT you want to do. I appreciate all of ya'lls thoughts:D
