As an American, is it possible to travel abroad and work as an ADN (not BSN) RN? If so, which countries allow it?

*** I know of american nurses who work in american hospitals overseas. Since the hospitals are all federal, usually military hospitals, they can work under any license. Search at USAjobs.

Suggest you check out the International forum under the world tab above. Most EU countries will not accept anything less than BSN at the moment, I know definitely the UK currently states on their nursing governing body website (NMC) that they do not accept ADN. A lot will depend on the country you wish to live and work in
