Interview project for nursing school admissions

Hello,

I just received my invitation to sit for my interview for my nursing program. When I opened the invitation, it stated that I needed to arrive 15-20 minutes early in order to complete a small project before the interview. Does anyone have any idea of what this project could possibly be about?

I have no idea, but I'm really curious. Please post what it was after you have your interview. Good luck!

I sure will. Thanks for the reply.

If they told you ahead of time, it wouldn't be your work if you asked somebody else. Have fun with it, and good luck!

So the project was how I dealt with stress. They gave me a small paragraph to read which stated when certain tests, meetings and clinicals were, and I was to mark them accordingly on a blank calendar that they provided. When the interview started, I had to explain if I considered scheduling these details to be difficult or not and why. It wasn't bad, and I believe the interview went rather well.

Oh, that's an interesting exercise. Good way for them to see time management skills in action.

Thanks for following up on the post, Maggiesa85. Good luck with the admissions process!
