I passed I passed I passed!!!...its official, after much worrying stressing and freaking out I found out today that I passed my second semester of nursing school. This semester really put me to the test. I'm in an ADN program and these semesters are so hard because they are fast paced learning all the material we need to be an RN.

If it wasn't for psych and for my psych instructors in which one gave me some words of wisdom and the other I had to prove wrong, I wouldn't have never made it in my opinion! I prayed for this and I feel my prayers were answered but now I have to make good on my promises and put more afford in my studies next semester. I literally passed by the skin of my teeth. I. You need a 78 out of 100 to pass and I got a 77.6 in which rounds up to a 78 so yea...

So for this summer I will be studying all my weak areas at school of course in the skills lab and my theory material in the library. And of course I'm going to RELAX!!!

I'm really proud of myself and all those that made it but also wish the best for those who didn't cause some of my really close classmates didn't make it which really sucks!

I can only imagine what's in store for me next semester...

congrats!!!!;) with God and hard work, you can do anything. I start nursing school in Aug.

Aww, congrats :) !! I just had my orientation for the ADN program on May 16. I am kind of ready to begin....LOL! But I know I will regret saying that! What classes did you take? Any advice for those going into the program, like myself?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I just graduated from nursing school on Wednesday and the feeling is amazing! I used to read the future material on the beach to get a head start. It's actually the best advice I can give. I retained so much more information because I did not feel pressured to read :) Keep pushing because in the end it's all worth it! good luck!

Thanks @chipuitap and don't worry you'll do just fine. I always worry about the next step in anything I do but am usually eager to get there but as far as advice I would say rest relax by hanging out with your favorite people (who knows when you'll see them again) watching your favorite shows or whatever you do to enjoy yourself. Also start preparing for the upcoming semester by getting your required materials, studying materials and finding a good quite place to study. I wouldn't read ahead unless they gave you a list of what to read because a classmate did that my first semester and we didn't even go over half the chapters he read! But if you want to do something to prepare yourself more educationally I would practice how to take vitals manually or do things like that. But honestly I would say relaxing and enjoying your time you have now would be beneficial. Good to you and your future success!
