I finally got an externship!!!!

I finally found a hospital that would accept me for an extership program for the summer. I will be getting to work in ICU and recovery room for three months. Its going to be fun cant wait. Any advice from past intern/externs. I guess i need to be brushing up on my assesment skills since i have had mental health clinical the past 6 weeks.

That's great news. Did the externship require you to be in the nursing program for a given # of semesters?

:balloons: Congrats!!!!!! Is yours all summer? I got one in a telemetry unit (with lotsa cool high aquity pts., ICU spot was taken :o ) and I can't wait! Let us know about all your expiences once you start.
