I was all set to head back to school this month, but due to possible changes in our family situation, I am going to wait until the spring semester. My husband has a possible job offer in another city - the company that wants him is in the process of reorganizing to "create" the position they want him for, so there is no definite date for him to start and us to move! We talked about it and he knows how let down I am, but told me that if he doesn't hear something definite by the end of the year, I can start again in January.
It's just so hard when you've psyched yourself up to go back to school and then find out you're not going Please tell me that one semester isn't going to matter!
Thanks for letting me vent/cry!! I'm 32 y.o., and have wanted to finish what I started when I was 18. This is all I've really ever wanted to do - so many tried to persuade me to choose another career & I did, but just wasn't happy. My mother worked in the ER for 25 of her 33 yrs as an RN & "way" back when, I used to go to work with her and watch in amazement how truly awesome she was/is!!
Please tell me that one semester isn't going to matter!
