My professor said the lectures are supplemental to the book and we do not have to come to class. This has been a self-learn course, since we started. I am not the only person who feels like going to class is a waste of time, either... though I have not missed a day. another story for another time... anyway:

I have read all chapters and memorized every definition (to understand the language). I am bombing chapter review questions from both books... I have never put in this much effort in school and have never felt so unprepared.

I have a test in the afternoon and have been studying for the past 3 days. I am not doing something right here... any tips on studying?

Our textbooks have online portions that offer nclex style questions for every single chapter! Over 1000 nclex style questions for our entire textbook.. its great. They even have an iphone app for the questions!

what some students in the class told me was: to complete the study guide. some chick got an "A" and did not even read, according to her. the depth of detail in this book is unbelievable. i even purchased a text to speech program, because i speed over 3 hours on each chapter.

i also was able to get the LAB instructor to give me some pointers... Maslow hierarchy / Erickson's stages of development, etc... i believe i am OVER-analyzing a bit. i get my exam returned Tuesday and will ask my professor for tips/rationale.
