How are all of you paying for school?

I'm starting nursing school next month. I've applied for a couple of scholarships at two hospitals that will cover tuition. I already have a degree so I don't qualify for the Pell Grant. I'm not sure yet if I will be able to get other federal or state grants. I applied for financial aid after I knew for sure that I would be going to nursing school in the fall. I have enough savings to cover living expenses for 16 months while I'm going to school. I really don't want to work during school or take out any loans (done that before).

I was just wandering how you all are paying for school and living expenses. :)

Out of my own pockets, now withering away by the absence of money in them. If gas prices stay where they are then I shall resort to pawning stuff for gas money. Times are tough and nursing school isn't cheap...

stafford loan, private education loan, my parents throw me a few bucks here or there, work, work, work, my bf has chipped in at times.....

someday, when i'm rich (hahahahahahaha) i'll look back on being so poor and laugh! hehe

Pell grant (covering 95% of the tuition), state grant (covering 100% of childcare), and stafford loans for my books and supplies, and living. My dh doesn't have to pay much towards my education, he just pays the mortgage/bills.

Having 4 young children and one income helped to get covered, that's for sure.
