Hi all. I'm a 3rd yr nursing student. I go to school in Phoenix, AZ. I plan to work a few years and then go back to get my DNP. I would like to be a Women's NP. Looking forward to reading related posts.

Question - Forgive me if its dumb. Is there a difference in schooling between women's NP and CNM or is it just a specialization thing?

I think they have slightly different scopes of practice! I might be wrong though

ETA: plus you would think women's NP would deal more with gynecology while CNMs deal with obstetrics and gynecology?? Just a guess 🤗

That was my thought but I didn't know. I really should google but I've been studying and taking care of a 2yo with croup. AN is my decompress time. Lol
