Hesi Exit Exam

Hi all,

I hope that finals weren't too tough. I was just wondering how everyone did on the Hesi or exit Hesi exam. I took it yesterday and I passed on the first try. I was so happy that I passed! A lot of my class didn't pass but they have 3 more chances before we do preceptorships next semester. My BSN program has a requirement that we must pass the exit Hesi with an 850 or above to participate in preceptorships in our last semester. I was just curious how everyone did.

Hi!!!

I made an 860, but we had to make a 900 to pass. Maybe you can tell me what to do in order to pass, because this test is a thorn in my side.

I just studied questions from Saunders NCLEX CD and read all of the rationales. But any NCLEX or HESI book would help you study. That stinks that you were so close to passing. For every question I performed the process of elimination, read the question and answer more than once, took my time, ABCs, Maslows hierarchy of needs, if I had no idea what the answer was, I chose the answer that was the worst situation or possible problem. I hope that helps if you need more help feel free to PM me. Also it would be good if you studied about 1 to 2 hours a day this break to review material and keep it fresh in your mind.
