My name is Amber and I'm new here. I'm about to enroll at Ecpi in northern virginia. I'm in the process of going into the medical assitant program but after viewing some of the discussions I've decided that if its possibleI want to take the Practical Nursing program. After I take this program I'll be able to take the NCLEX PN and I'll be considered an LPN correct? I suppose I'll have to look information on how much an LPN makes in Northern Virginia.

Hello and Welcome to the All Nurses Family!
Yes, after passing the NCELX-PN you will be an LPN/LVN.
Check out Salary.com if you wish to know how much LPNs make in your state.
Good Luck!
