Hi Crystal,

Good luck to you during your job search. I enjoyed my pediatric clinicals so much, that after my rotation, I stayed in contact with my instructor,( she was SO helpful to me throughout everything), and I applied to the unit. It is a large teaching hospital, and I was SO excited to get the job. The interview process was very nerve wracking. I thought I would be doing an interview one-on-one with another nurse. There were about 6 or so other nurses in the room, talk about pressure! But I did okay, and I know you will too. Good luck to you.

I got my dream job. It is a large teaching-children's hospital and all the nurses that I met during my interview were so friendly and loved what they do for children. I start my internship June 11th, and it will be 5 months long in the transplant unit. My interview went well, and I had a good feeling as soon as I left there. The nurse manager was nice and loved new graduates. She showed me the unit and introduced me to everyone. I hoped I get that so bad (my instructors did too). But in case I didn't get the position, I had interviewed with 4 more hospitals. Good Luck.

Good luck with your resume and job search and CONGRATS to the class of 2007 :smiley_aa .

I had 3 interveiws two for the ICU and one for the E.D. The ICU interveiws were group interveiws so I was asked questions from 4-5 different people. It wasn't that bad though, about the same as a single person interview. My E.D. interveiw was a one person interveiw. I got called the day after the E.D. interveiw and was offered the job which I accepted. So i will be an emergency room nurse and I am only comfortable wtih that because of my backround.
