I came home from work today and found a letter in the mail from the 2nd ASN program I had applied to. I took a while to open it since I recieved the first letter, which was the "I am sorry, while you qualifed, we do not have a slot open for you" letter.
The letter today informed me that I am on the alternate list for candidates. All those with acceptance letters must return them within 10 days if they intend to accept the offer. After 10 days, any slots that have not been filled, or people who have declined the offer will be filled with the alternate list. I am number 19 on the list!! Dare I hope I can make it in???
I guess I will know soon! I still have applications out for other programs, so I may still get in elsewhere! At least I can say I am happier today just in finding out I am still in contention for this program.
I think waiting on "the" acceptance letter is stressing me out! Myself and my whole families life is on hold over this.
Thanks for listening to the vent and keep hoping for me!! :)

I really, really hope this works out for you!
You're number 19 on the list - how many are accepted into the program? If it's a good size number, say 40 or 50, you may have a good shot at getting in. I certainly hope so! :)
