Feeling hopeless, Need Some Encouragement

Nursing Students General Students

Well I got my 2nd test back in my nursing health assessment class today. I made a 76% on it. I am very dishearted with that.:o I studied really hard for this test. I made a 74% on the last test. My school requires a 75% on the tests to pass the class. I know that I am not failing but I am right on the line. I am just so scared. I have worked so hard to get this far. I studied the notes, read my assignments, and even practiced NCLEX style questions. I can't figure out where I am going wrong. I study more than alot of the students in my class. I am 34. There is only 2 other people in my class older than me. All the younger classmates made a 84 or higher. I just feel like I am a failure. I just don't know what other avenue I can do with my studying. I would appreciate any suggestions. Hope you all have a good week!

Make an appointment and go talk with the instructor. Your instructor may be able to go over the tests with you and give you some insight on why you're having a problem. Good luck!

That's still a pretty decent grade! Imagine what you would have gotten if you didnt' study.

Most people I know live by the mantra "C's get degrees", its probably a little different where I am as our education system has created a culture of mediority so no one really tries.

Kudos to you! You shouldn't feel bad, but go to your counsellor/instructur as mentioned if it does bother you/
