Feel Like Givin Up!

  1. I failed psych nursing this summer Now I have to take two classes to bring up my gpa before I can get back in. This isn't the worst part, because they've changed the curriculum I have to take Med Surg I over which I had taken and passed because they now have split it into two sections, and I also have to take OB over which I struggled with the questions but however I did pass because they've added Peds to it. A) what if I fail something I've already taken and passed and B) what if I fail again period then I'm out of the program I studied so hard and seems as if my studying was in vain.

Consider yourself lucky because you at least have this chance while the curriculum change is taking effect. My school changed curriculums while I was there and when I was having problems. Guess what? I didn't get to finish. They were very open that anybody having problems had deadlines each semester, as they converted from one system to the new one. If you didn't make their deadline, you were gone. A lot of people ended up gone. Victims of the curriculum change and a staff that refused to come up with an alternative way to deal with the problem. I was weeks away from graduation and had extenuating circumstances. It didn't matter to them. Just retake the classes and this time around make certain that you don't mess anything up. You don't want to get kicked out of the program. Good luck. We all send you positive thoughts.

(((HUGS))) Sorry things are so frustrating. The positive thing is that you are going into the retake classes with some knowledge which will actually help you a lot with your grades! You are probably going to do really, really well! Hang in there!!!:spin:
