Tomorrow is my last day of LPN school (YAY!) but before we exit we have to take a comprehensive test created by ERI (very similair to ATI). Anyway, we do not pass go or collect 200 if we do not pass this (i.e not graduate!) So I am freaking out! If anyone has taken this ERI LPN assessment and has any advice please let me know ASAP! Thanks!:uhoh21:

I took the ERI as an exit exam about a week before completing my LVN program. Only 6 people did not pass on the first attempt. A score of 58 was regarded as the minimum to pass, a 63 was the national average, a 64 was my school's average score, and so forth. I scored a 63 without even studying. For the 6 people who did not pass, the school refused to send their paperwork into the state's board of nursing until they passed. After all, the school needs to keep their NCLEX pass rates at a certain level in order to maintain state approval to operate the nursing program.

Thanks for the reply. The only thing that stinks is that we have to get a score of 1pt higher than the national average. It just stinks, to have worked this hard and to have the outcome be decided by one test.

My entire class was panicked over the exit exam. We had to get at least 60 to pass. However, if we didn't pass, we had 2 more tries. Only 2 people did not pass. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I got a 66. If you studied well during the rest of the year you shouldn't have any problem.

You'll be fine.:lol2:
