Engraving on stethoscope - yay or nay?

Sorry, I've tried Googling this before I decided to ask this question throughout the forum. Would it be inappropriate to have Bible verses laser engraved on my stethoscope? It would be a reminder and encouragement for me throughout nursing school, but I don't want to offend any patients who might not believe in God. I know some people can get very irate real quick if they think you have beliefs about "other beings", but I also want my stethoscope to be easy to identify. I don't want to put my name on it, just in case I end up selling it later. I was wondering if it's inappropriate, as a student in clinicals, to have "diety references" on your stethoscope. If so, I'll just think of some other way to easily identify my stethoscope.

I wouldn't do more than my name. I'm not religious, but an engraving of my name would give me more security than a verse. I keep my stethoscope on my person at all times.
