During study group today one of my friends was having a moment. We were doing dosage calculations and she kept saying,"I don't think I'm going to pass this exam." We all stopped what we were doing to help her out until she felt comfortable with the problems. After we were done we all came up with one phrase we would tell eachother when we have a moment like that,(which I know it will happen).

Mine is.....Failure is not an option.

Her's was....Why sleep in when you can study!! :zzzzz (which I thought was funny because I love to sleep in.)

My other two friends came up with

Just Do It and Let's Rock this Joint!!

Anyone else have encouraging words when you or someone else feels stressed or when a situation seems hopeless?:)

I have 3 actually....

"Failure is NOT an option" from Apollo 13 Gene Kranz says it when they are trying to get the guys back home.

" When God leads you to it....He WILL lead you through it." I changed one word from someone's sig on here. They had it as "If" not when.

And...

" I have not failed. I have found 10,000 things that don't work" Thomas Edison

The first one is in my sig line. The other 2 are written on my whiteboard.

Mine is "Enjoy the Process"...because that is where the experience of life is...not the ending.

Success is a Journey, not a Destination

There are things I can't force. I must adjust. There are times when the greatest change needed is a change in my viewpoint.

Whether you think you CAN or you think you CAN'T- you are right.

Positive attitudes create positive people.

The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.

Experience often shows that success is due less to ability than to attitude.

The biggest mistake you can make is to afraid of making one.

Learn to laugh at yourself.

Respect yourself by asking for help if you need it.

My favorite: "Do, or do not. There is no try."

This is one they told us in the Marines:

What doesn't kill me, makes me stronger.
