i have lecture tommorrow, clinical on thur, then final on monday! i can't hardly stand it. i'm ready for a little break, some r & r.

I wish I had thought to take a pharm or med term class. Maybe I'd be doing better in lecture ...

We have lecture Friday and our final on Monday. Talk about no time!

i've been craving cokes, dr pepper, root beer, cream sodas, and my fav. vanilla diet coke (oxymoron, i know) before i got pregnant i didn't drink cokes at all, just water and tea sometimes. i've gained 30 lbs, so i guess a lot of that is due to all this new sugar i've added to my diet. i'll burn it all off next sem :D

doesn't that day that we all went together to get a drink with chips and salsa seem so long ago! this semester has just flown by!

i get my mcp back tommorrow---can't wait to see all the red

Hey Ya'll, would you mind answering a question for me. I'm in for the fall ADN at NLC. MY question is this. I have to take Micro in addition to the other two first semester nursing classes. We're doing HPRS over the summer, which has us in the hospital almost immediately. My question is, about what time are you finished for the day and driving home? Reason I ask is I'm selling my house and trying to decide where to move. While I know the hospital selection is a lottery and I could end up in a few different places, traffic patterns and time of day will have a huge impact on where I decide to move. Any insight is greatly appreciated and good luck on your finals!

On campus, you're usually done pretty early - I think the latest we were here was 3-4 pm, and that was only when we were doing pre-clinicals which you won't be doing. The hospital times vary widely - some clinicals were over at 2pm (for some groups), others were done at 5-7 pm. Congrats on getting in the program! Good luck to you!!

Are you taking micro this summer? Lectures are usually from 9 to 3pm. If you have clinicals one day a week you leave late afternoon. If you go two days a week you leave around 2pm.

Are you taking Micro at NLC? I would NOT, I repeat, I would NOT take Micro at NLC with Dr. Su. He is very difficult. Also, one of my classmates took Micro this year along with our required nursing courses and she was so stressed out all semester. That's a big load! A lot of my classmates are taking Micro this summer, the summer after first sem nursing classes.

just a little tid bit.

My scedule for first sem....I was at Medical Center of Plano.

Mon - no class

Tues-8-12-skills lab

Wed-9-2:30 lecture

Thurs-6-5 (at hospital)

Fri- no class....

Everyone's schedule is pretty different-it really depends on which hospital you get...
