Did your Amazon Prime memberships expire?

Last year a lot of us found out on this board about free Amazon Prime memberships for students. Well mine just expired and they won't renew it for free. The fine print says you MAY get it for 4 years. I am bummed as it really helped with buying school stuff.

Did anyone get a renewal offer for free?

You get the free Amazon Prime for a year, the Amazon Student membership lasts for 4 years. After your first free year you can renew Prime for half price for 3 years. Which isn't a bad deal at all since they added the video streaming service to prime along with the 2 day shipping.

Wow this is neat but I just tried to sign up and they say my .edu address is invalid. (which it's not-I signed in to check)

Anyone else have this problem?
