criminal background and child abuse clearence

hey, i was wondering if we have to update our child abuse/criminal background check yearly. i know we have to do our ppd, but im not sure about they others. a couple ppl at my school said that its just the ppd, but others said the background checks are only valid for one year.

i havent recieved any threatening letters from the dean or program advisor so i think i may be clear.

but anyway what's your school policy on these things?????

HI,

We have to renew our child abuse clearance and criminal clearance every year. If we don't we cannot continue with clinical rotations. We get a letter before each semester telling us what is due or if we are up to date.
