Conemaugh School of Nursing?

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello!

I'm new to this site but so happy I found it. Has anyone here attended conamaugh school of nursing? If so, please tell me about your experiences with the school. I also have an additional question if you don't mind answering it. What where your high school grades like? I'm slightly concerned about getting accepted because I transfered from public school to cyber school in my senior year due to health problems.

Now I've under gone surgery and my problems are over! Yay. My senior year my grades were lower then all my prior I recieved a "D" , "D" and "C" in an African American studies class, pre clac and in AP statistics. This obviously lowered my gpa to 3.2 weighted and a 2.7 unweighted. The first three years of my high school career (while healthy) I took TONS of college courses. Is conamaugh the type of school that will take this in to consideration? I also did well (above there requirments) on my SATs. What are my chances guys?

Hi, I'm Jess and I'm currently a freshmen at Conemaugh School of Nursing.

I'd say no matter how you did, go ahead and apply. I'm not sure if they would take your hs gpa grades that much into consideration. When I applied I was already out of high school for 3 years and had taken some classes at a community college. After I sent in my application, they had me come in and take a Kaplan entrance exam and depending on how you did on it you would be able to schedule an interview with admissions. Then after the interview I think they go over everyone who's applying and decide who's in and who's not.

It's a great school. The instructors and the staff are very friendly and they do a great job making sure everyone's where they need to be. I highly recommend it to anyone.

If you do get in, you'll get a list of things you need to do (such as getting financial aide, clearances, physicals, etc) that need to be done before you start in the fall. It may seem very overwhelming m, just make sure you give yourself enough time and you should be fine

I hope I was able to help. If you have any other questions let me know, I'm happy to help ?
