I have 39 days left until our pinning ceremony and I start preceptorship tomorrow @ 6:30a, wheeee. I need some assistance with choosing a topic for a 15 minute clinical care conference.
I have to find an evidence based article, prepare a story board and give a brief 15 minute talk with a 5 question post-test to the staff on the Oncology floor where I am precepting.
We just had our final exam last week and I'm toast. I can't think of anything I want to talk about to staff I haven't even met! YIKES
Any suggestions are gratefully appreciated.:heartbeat

Talk to the charge nurse or unit manager (you can call them on the phone if you can't get there in person), identify yourself and your assignment. Ask them if there is a current patient that has an unusual cancer or treatment that you can do a 15-minute inservice on for your project. I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.
