Has anyone used Cliff Notes to study for any subjects and if so which subjects were they helpful in? tia

Oh, and there was also mention of "Spark Notes". Any experiences with either would be much appreciated. tia

I have used Cliff notes for some of my biology classes. Its great for carrying around in my purse and studying on the go. There have been many times when I have had complications understanding concepts in my book and went to the cliff notes for a breakdown. Then I could go back to the book for more details. I have one for A&P from about seven years ago and dont know if it is still made but would be a good investment based on my experience.

Once used Cliff notes to write a paper on The Odyssey. Never actually read the book, just the notes. Got a B plus. Not too shabby.

My only complaint about Cliff Notes is that some of them don't have indexes.
If you're looking for additional background info on something that your textbook doesn't adequately explain, it doesn't help if there's no index to quicky look it up.
