In your RN program, how long does it take to do your care plans? Are there some that take 10 or more hours? Are they hard to do?

the answers to this will vary because each person will have different program requirements and each person works differently. the word "hard" is a relative term that means something different to each person. there are other things to learn in nursing school that may be "hard": giving shots, putting ng tubes down someones throat, doing cpr on someone, suctioning mucous out of someones nose or throat, cleaning up bloody vomit, changing dressing on wounds that smell horrible and look even worse.

why is it important for you to look for answers to these questions? are you worried about doing care plans? i answer a lot of care plan questions. i have been doing them my entire career as an rn. students are taught to do them in nursing school. i must tell you that all rns are required to know how to write a care plan. this is by a federal law. lpns must also know how to write a care plan in the nursing homes (by federal law) and that is where most of the lpns are employed. a nursing school would be cheating a student if they did not teach you how to compose a care plan.
