i want to start as a cna or lpn because am going to need to fund my education but i want to also gain experience too. so i would like to know abt prerequisites and where to do them and how long it will take. i dont want to take forever to get a BSN so i am willing to go the extra mile to get it done quickly. i will be moving from the Caribbean to PA so i dont really understand the education system. even though i went to college in my country most if not all of my credits wont be transferable. so as much info as possible. thank u

If you're wanting to go straight into LPN then BSN you would need to look into a technical college or applied technology school for LPN, then you would want to go to a University for the BSN. For my LPN school there was an entrance test, and a high school diploma/ GED requirement and that was it. So as far as LPN goes you shouldn't need any prerequisites. Honestly, you would need to contact the schools and specifically ask them and get any information you currently have on your education sent to them. Best of Luck!

Did ASN through CC, no loans, and now doing BSN online, no loans.
